Speech and Hearing Assesment and Free Hearing Aid Distribution Camp: 22^nd to 24^th February 2022

JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru have organized a ‘free speech and hearing evaluation, hearing aid distribution program on 23rd and 24th of February, 2022 at JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysuru This program is organized in collaboration with Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech & Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan), Mumbai.

1. Those who have hearing problem may get their hearing tested and avail hearing aid free of cost if eligible.
2. Individuals who have availed this facility in the previous years can get their instruments for reprogramming and repair if necessary.

Documents required for availing free hearing aid are as follows

Copy of Aadhaar card, hearing disability certificate with hearing disability 40% or above (issued by civil Surgeon/ competent authority of respective State Government), income certificate issued by competent authority, two recent passport size color photographs.

Note: Individuals with monthly Income up to Rs. 15,000/- will get the hearing aid free of cost, monthly Income from Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 20,000/- will get the hearing aids at a concessional rate of 50% of the cost of the aid.
